Isle of Reveries Release Date and Platforms

Isle of Reveries launches September 4, 2026. The date is shared by desertcucco’s Steam page and Electric Airship’s console announcement, then reported by Gematsu and Niche Gamer. This page is the launch briefing: who publishes what, what the demo means, and which details are still store-page fine print.

The game is upcoming. Do not write as if it already sat on shelves. When this wiki’s stamp says August 2026, you are five days out, not in a post-mortem.

Platforms

  • PC (Steam) — Windows and SteamOS/Linux, with macOS minimums listed. Developer and Steam publisher: desertcucco. App ID 3100970. Demo app ID 3154880.
  • Nintendo Switch — confirmed for the same date by Electric Airship.
  • PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 — concept/wishlist page live; publisher Electric Airship.
  • Xbox Series and Xbox One — store listing with Smart Delivery, cloud saves, 27 achievements; publisher Electric Airship.

Handheld players can look at Steam Deck (demo shown by the developer) or Switch. Specs: system requirements.

Price and language

Electric Airship’s official launch trailer listed $19.99 and “English + more if possible.” Steam’s supported-language table currently shows English only. This wiki localizes guides into French, German, and Spanish for readers; that is not a promise the game ships those UI languages. Confirm the store widget on purchase day.

Kickstarter already finished: 1,289 backers pledged $46,518 against a $25,000 goal. New customers buy on storefronts, not on a closed campaign. Backers watch email for keys.

Demo versus retail

The Steam demo includes the opening, first dungeon, and first boss (about 1–2 hours). Save data does not transfer. Play it to learn copy-spawn, then start a new file on September 4. Demo reviews were Very Positive with a small sample. That is a signal, not a Metacritic score for the full seven-dungeon game.

Co-op at launch

Steam advertises two dedicated multiplayer stages with local co-op and Remote Play Together. Electric Airship described console co-op as a post-release patch. Plan your couch accordingly. Full explanation: co-op guide.

Content promised for day one

From current store copy (not from a leaked script):

  • Eight overworld biomes
  • Seven dungeons with unique key items
  • Fairy copy-and-spawn
  • Township building and rescued NPCs
  • Dedicated jump
  • Bug catching and fishing as rest activities in older blurbs

Named temples already public: Pilgrim’s Sanctum, Overgrown Shrine, Wyrm’s Remains, Timelocked Villa, Snowcloaked Mine, Twilit Thicket, Well of Ordeals. See the checklist.

Who to follow

Official URLs are gathered on the links hub. desertcucco (Carl) is the creator. Electric Airship is the console publisher and the voice on PlayStation/Xbox/Switch trailers. Press contact on Steam is listed as pr@carlbaker.info; do not send this wiki your support tickets.

When patches land, they will appear here and on the updates hub. Until the servers clock over to September 4, the most useful thing you can do is finish the demo and read Getting Started. If you are buying on two platforms, pick one save file as your “real” pilgrimage: cross-saves between Steam and consoles have not been advertised. Wishlist both if you must, but assume the owl’s notebook will not follow you from Deck to Switch without an official statement after launch.
