Isle of Reveries Copyable Objects
A field list of things the fairy can duplicate — and what each copy is for.
The fairy in Isle of Reveries does not copy everything. It copies a curated set of world objects that were built to be verbs. Official store text names puzzle blocks, torches, mushrooms, “and more.” desertcucco’s examples add arrow-shooters (gargoyles) and the general rule: if you need a second one, steal the first. This page is the inventory of those objects. Tactics live in the copy-spawn guide.
If an object does not copy, it is scenery, an enemy, or a later-game type you have not unlocked a tool for. The Fairy Slinger changes range, not necessarily the legal set. The Clawncher pulls; it does not replace copy.
Puzzle blocks
The basic weight. Park a copy on a floor switch so a door stays open while Lief walks through. Two-switch rooms want one original plus one copy, or two copies if the original must remain as a bridge. After the January 2025 demo patch you can also push the real block by walking into it; copy is how you get a second.
When a room has no block, the block is almost always one screen away. This is the number-one Pilgrim’s Sanctum stall.
Torches and lamps
Copy a flame source when the frog lantern is busy or when two braziers must light at once. Sometimes the copied torch is the only way to carry fire across a gap Lief cannot hop while holding the lantern in the “use” state. Try lantern first (it is the early-game tool), then copy if the room still looks unsolved.
Mushrooms
Official lists include mushrooms. Kickstarter connects stretchy mushrooms to the Clawncher: pull them and they send Lief flying. A copied mushroom is a portable trampoline. Place it under a ledge you already failed to jump, or next to a copied block to build a tiny staircase of physics. Do not stand where the launch aims at spikes.
Arrow-shooters / gargoyles
The combat copy. Place the statue so its lane crosses an enemy, a crystal, or a switch you cannot reach with the sword. The official account told a stuck demo player to copy the arrow-shooter in the previous room — treat that as canon tutorial. Friendly fire is real because i-frames are short. Jump out of your own lane.
Pipes and other dungeon gimmicks
Kickstarter playtest chapters mention pipe puzzles. Pipes may be interactable scenery rather than copy targets. Try copying only if the fairy highlights them. This wiki will not mark unverified objects as copyable. If launch-week players confirm pipes, we add them here; we do not guess.
Traps (spikes, slingshots)
Official combo clips show spikes and a slingshot used together. Some traps are probably copyable; some are probably Clawncher bait. Rule of thumb: if a trap is a discrete sprite with a job (launch, poke, shoot), attempt a copy in a safe room before you need it in a timed one.
What not to copy
- Lief, the fairy, or NPCs
- Water (Lief cannot swim; copying a shoreline will not make a boat unless the game later adds a boat object)
- Full walls and doors
- Bosses
If you are trying to duplicate Fermata, you are fighting the design. Fermata wants the whole kit, not a cloned boss.
Field habit
Keep a mental “source room” for each object type as you explore a dungeon. Sanctum’s shooter room is a source. A later temple’s mushroom patch is a source. When the checklist or a township quest needs a specific interaction, you already know where the verb lives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for pilgrims heading to the isle.
What can the fairy copy in Isle of Reveries?
Official examples include puzzle blocks, torches, mushrooms, and arrow-shooters. The list may grow with later dungeons.
Can I copy enemies?
Public materials talk about copying objects and using them against enemies, not cloning the enemies themselves.
Why won't my copy appear?
The target may be invalid, the floor blocked, or the object one screen away. Walk back and copy the loudest statue.
Do I need the Fairy Slinger to copy?
No. The Slinger is for distance. Adjacent copies work as soon as the fairy joins in Sanctum.
