Isle of Reveries is populated with anthropomorphic travelers rather than a silent green tunic. You play as Lief, a small owl with a leaf on the head, a notebook for people you meet, and a fairy companion who copies the world. The Kickstarter pitch is a caravan of misfits on a pilgrimage to a desecrated isle. The opening text is careful: it is said that any wish can be granted, not known, because few return and none come back with the wish intact.
This hub is for the cast, not for build rankings. Lief is not a class you respec. Personality lives in the notebook, in township houses, and in small achievement-tagged stories. Xbox’s public achievement list is one of the few official name sheets we have: Mr. Akedo, talking trees, Vangie, Kiwi, Oatmeal, lost lovers, a father and daughter, Quaritz and Bantern. Those names belong on the NPCs page with what we can confirm, not with fan-fiction endings.
Lief and the fairy
Lief cannot swim. That is a design constraint, not flavor text — water is a fence until an item or copy trick says otherwise. Lief can hop, and hop is unbound from the item menu. The fairy is the other half of the player character. It is the copy tool, the ranged scout with the Fairy Slinger, and the reason rooms feel like kits. Read Lief together with copy-spawn if you want the mechanical portrait, not only the story one.
Township as character storage
Official store text: construct buildings, forge a township, and let rescued characters move in with new quests. That is why the township guide sits next to this hub. If you rush only dungeons, you will miss the people who make the overworld feel inhabited. Demo and playtest videos already show gardening side work, bird statues, a Village of Spirits, and Crock’s Cave — treat those as named places you will walk with settlers, not as anonymous tiles.
How to read spoiler boundaries
This wiki names characters that appear in trailers, the demo, Kickstarter copy, and public achievement lists. It does not invent bios. If an achievement says “Make Kiwi Laugh” or “Scare Vangie,” we record the objective and wait for the full release to describe the scene. The checklist tracks those objectives without turning them into a plot dump.
