Isle of Reveries Items

Key tools, copyable objects, and trinkets that stay useful after each dungeon.

Items Hub

Items in Isle of Reveries are designed the way classic handheld Zelda dungeons were designed: each tool solves a family of puzzles and changes how you fight. desertcucco has said the philosophy is unique interactions with puzzles, enemies, and the environment, and that key items remain useful after you finish the dungeon that awarded them. That is why this hub exists separately from the guides hub — you will keep the lantern, glove, and fairy long after Fermata is gone.

The first object Lief receives is a frog-shaped lantern. It lights braziers and dark rooms, and it is a joke with a straight face: every great adventure starts with a lantern. A sword follows, then the ability to pick up small props (shown in demo playthroughs as a Power Glove-style lift). Jump is not an inventory slot. It is a dedicated button, usually a shoulder input on a gamepad, so your three visible item slots can stay on lantern, copy, and sword.

The fairy is an item and a verb

Once the fairy companion joins, copy-and-spawn becomes the real inventory. You are not only equipping a gadget; you are stealing a piece of the room. Arrow-shooting gargoyles, puzzle blocks, torches, and mushrooms all appear in official copy. The copy objects list is the field guide; the copy-spawn guide is the playbook. If a later room looks under-furnished, walk back one screen and copy the missing piece.

Kickstarter footage also shows the Fairy Slinger, which flings the companion forward so you can copy objects that are not standing next to Lief, and the Clawncher, a claw that pulls blocks, stretchy mushrooms, and even an enemy’s weapon. Xbox achievement lists name the Draco’launcher as a obtain-objective, so expect at least one more dungeon toy that is useful outside its temple.

Combat extras

Temporary trinkets drop as buffs and can be swapped at a trading post. Official posts describe defeating several enemies without taking a hit to earn a short power spike. That loop matters on the checklist if you are chasing clean combat achievements, but it is optional for story completion.

HUD screenshots show hearts stacked on the left and four face-button slots on the right (Y, X, B, A) plus an LB cue. Treat those slots as your loadout, not a junk drawer: lantern for light puzzles, copy for architecture, sword for contact, and a fourth tool such as the slinger or claw when a room asks for range.

How this hub is organized

Do not expect a huge crafting tree. Isle of Reveries is a compact adventure: a few excellent verbs, not fifty vendor rows. If a trailer shows an item we have not named, it is called out as unconfirmed rather than invented.
