Named Dungeons of Isle of Reveries
What public footage and achievements actually confirm before September 4, 2026.
Isle of Reveries is built as a dungeon pilgrimage. Current storefronts from Electric Airship and desertcucco advertise seven dungeons, each with its own theme, puzzles, and a key item that stays useful after you leave. Kickstarter-era copy sometimes said eight temples or “six main plus two mini.” This wiki follows the seven figure on 2026 store pages and lists only names we can pin to a public source. If launch splits a mini-dungeon out of the count, believe the in-game map.
The game is still upcoming on September 4, 2026. There is no honest room-by-room spoiler script for temples that have not shipped. What we can do is name the dungeons, say how we know they exist, and point you at the one temple you can play today: Pilgrim’s Sanctum in the Steam demo.
How many dungeons?
- Electric Airship launch trailer (August 4, 2026): seven dungeons, eight overworld biomes, $19.99.
- Steam about-text: has also said six in one blurb and eight biomes in another. Marketing copy drifted as the campaign aged.
- Kickstarter: “6 main dungeons and 2 mini dungeons” plus a later line about eight mysterious dungeons.
- Xbox achievements: several Complete the … tiles that name specific temples.
Treat seven as the current retail promise. Older eights are history, not a hidden ninth dungeon we should invent.
Pilgrim’s Sanctum (demo)
The first dungeon and the entire Steam demo after the lantern prologue. Let’s Try footage labels it Level 1. Xbox includes “Complete the Pilgrim’s Sanctum.” The boss is Fermata. This is where Lief learns the fairy copy, so every later temple assumes you already think in copies. Full notes: Pilgrim’s Sanctum. Demo saves do not transfer.
Overgrown Shrine
Named on Xbox and shown in official overgrown-temple gameplay. Expect plant growth, tight screens, and a key item that still matters in the overworld — that is the design rule for every dungeon, not a unique twist. We do not have a published item name for this temple. Do not guess one.
Wyrm’s Remains
Xbox achievement name. The title implies a dragon or fossil interior. No retail map is public. Pair whatever key item it awards with the key items loadout rules: keep it on a face button after the boss.
Timelocked Villa
Xbox plus a short official gameplay clip. A villa that is “timelocked” is a puzzle thesis, not just wallpaper: expect rooms that care about order, delay, or repeating a beat. Watch the clip, then wait for launch before a switch-by-switch guide. Related tools: advanced tools.
Snowcloaked Mine
Xbox plus the official clip embedded on this page. Snow and mine tiles suggest ice traction, carts, or dark shafts that still want Clem’s lantern. The clip is a mood and combat sample, not a 100% route.
Twilit Thicket
The longest public dungeon look: a 19-minute official gameplay video. Woods, twilight palette, and a legally-distinct Lost Woods energy that playtesters already joked about. Dedicated notes: Twilit Thicket. Use that page when you want traversal and combat habits rather than a name list.
Well of Ordeals
Xbox: “Complete the Well of Ordeals.” The wording reads like a trial or mini-dungeon — the kind of extra the Kickstarter called a mini. It may or may not count toward the storefront seven. Tick it on the checklist either way; do not skip it because the name is short.
What every dungeon shares
Official features repeat four rules:
- Distinct theme and puzzles.
- A key item used in both combat and puzzles.
- That item remains useful after you leave.
- The fairy can copy world objects (blocks, torches, mushrooms, arrow-shooters) so you restage rooms instead of hunting a second prop.
Combat inside temples is the same grammar as the overworld: short sword, dedicated jump, brief i-frames, copy-as-weapon. See combat and how to play. Lief still cannot swim; water in a dungeon is a wall until a copy or item says otherwise.
Order of operations
Public material does not publish a forced dungeon order beyond Sanctum first. Handheld Zelda-likes often open the map after dungeon one. Plan to finish the demo, start a new file on September 4, then use the in-game map — not this list — as the spoiler-free compass. If a YouTube thumbnail numbers the temples 1–7 before launch, it is guessing.
When a temple awards a toy you do not recognize, add it to the four HUD slots and keep jump on a shoulder. The items hub exists so those verbs have a home after the boss door.
What we will not invent
Heart piece counts, tablet coordinates, boss names past Fermata, and “the correct” dungeon sequence. Those belong in a post-launch patch of this page. Until then, the useful work is knowing the names, playing Sanctum, and watching the official clips so launch day is not your first look at snow, villa, or thicket lighting.
